Dr Barry Thng Lip Mong
Dr Barry Thng Lip Mong is our Executive Chairman and CEO and was appointed to our Board on 6 June 2006. He is a founder of our Group and is responsible for the overall business and strategic direction of our Group. As Head of the GP Clinic Services business segment, Dr. Thng also oversees the strategic direction and day-to-day management of this segment.
Dr. Thng began his career as a houseman at the Ministry of Health in 1991 and 1992. He served as a medical officer at the Ministry of Health from 1992 to 1993 and during his National Service from 1993 to 1995. After fulfilling his National Service duties, Dr. Thng resumed his position as Medical Officer at the Ministry of Health in 1995 before becoming a trainee in family medicine from 1995 to 1998. Since 1998, Dr. Thng has been practising as a family physician at My Family Clinic CCK with a focus on family medicine.
Dr. Thng graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1991 and obtained a Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) from the National University of Singapore in 1998. He also received a Graduate Diploma in Family Practice Dermatology from the National University of Singapore in 2000. Dr. Thng has been a fellow of the College of Family Physicians, Singapore and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore since 2002 and 2014, respectively.
Dr Mok Kan Hwei Paul
Dr Mok Kan Hwei Paul is our Executive Director and was appointed to our Board on 2019.
Our Executive Director and Head of Specialist Care Services, Dr Paul Mok is an accredited and internationally recognised ENT Head & Neck Surgeon in Singapore with vast clinical experience spanning over 20 years. Dr Mok is adept at treating a wide range of ENT conditions, such as nasal allergies, sinus infections, ear problems and swelling in the head and neck region. Apart from general ENT conditions, Dr Mok also has a special interest in the sub-specialty fields of Voice, Swallowing and Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Wong Hin Sun, Eugene
Mr Wong Hin Sun, Eugene is our Lead Independent Director and was appointed to our Board on 2019.
He was an Independent Director of TMC Education Corporation Ltd. (now known as Global Dragon Limited) and Q & M Dental Group (Singapore) Limited. He is a Non-executive Director of several companies, such as Agfunder Asia Pte. Ltd., Singapore Cruise Centre Pte. Ltd. and Jason Marine Group Limited. He is a Non-executive Vice Chairman of Japan Foods Holding Ltd. and a Non-executive Chairman of Crimsonlogic Pte Ltd) . He was previously also a Non-executive Director of companies such as Ajisen (China) Holdings Limited, Singapore Kitchen Equipment Limited and Neo Group Limited. He is currently a Council Member of the Singapore Business Federation Foundation Limited.
Mr. Wong is currently the Founder and Managing Director of Sirius Venture Capital Pte. Ltd.. Mr. Wong started his career in 1992 in the Republic of Singapore Navy and left in 1998, where he last held the position of Head of Navy Recruitment and Publicity. He later joined Crimson Asia Capital Singapore Pte Ltd from 1998 to 2000 as an associate before joining Aretae Pte Ltd as Vice-President, overseeing corporate development and ventures. Mr. Wong returned to Crimson Asia Capital Singapore Pte Ltd later in 2000 and left in 2002 where he was last appointed Executive Director and Principal, before leaving to start Sirius Venture Capital Pte. Ltd. in 2002.
Mr. Wong graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Business Administration (First Class Honours) in 1992 and obtained a Masters of Business Administration in Management from the University of London, Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in 1998. He became a Chartered Financial Analyst at the Association for Investment Management & Research in 2000 and completed the Owner President Management Program at Harvard Business School from 2009 to 2011. Mr. Wong is a Chartered Valuer and Appraiser of the Institute of Valuers and Appraisers, Singapore, a Chartered Director of the Institute of Directors, United Kingdom, and a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Dr Leong Peng Kheong Adrian Francis
Dr Leong Peng Kheong Adrian Francis has more than 35 years of experience in the medical industry.
He is currently a director of AFL, a company which he founded in 2012 and which provides consultancy services to the healthcare industry. From 1994 to 1999, Dr. Leong was a consultant and colorectal surgeon at Singapore General Hospital. From 1999 to 2002 and 2002 to 2004, he was appointed Head of the Colorectal Surgery Division and Chief of the Department of Surgery at National University Hospital, respectively. He was also an associate professor at the National University of Singapore from 1999 to 2004. In 2005, Dr. Leong founded his own colorectal and general surgery practice under the name “Adrian Leong Colorectal & General Surgery Pte. Ltd.” and served as a consultant and director until 2007. He returned to the National University of Singapore in 2007, where he served as professor as well as the Deputy Head of Surgery and Deputy Director of the National University Cancer Institute of Singapore, until 2010. In 2010, Dr. Leong served as the Managing Director of Medical Services of Healthway Medical Group Pte. Ltd., where he was responsible for overseeing the clinical practices within the group until 2011. He was appointed Executive Director of HMC, a company listed on the Catalist Board of the SGX-ST, in 2011.
Dr. Leong graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1983 and obtained a Master of Medicine (Surgery) in 1988.
Lim Heng Chong Benny
Mr Lim Heng Chong Benny has been the Independent Director of China Sunsine Chemical Holdings Ltd. since 2007 and was also an Independent Director of BM Mobility Ltd. from 2009 to 2017 and the Lead Independent Director of Sysma Holdings Limited from 2012 to 2015.
Mr. Lim has been in legal practice in Singapore as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore since 1997. He is currently a partner of Chris Chong & CT Ho where he focuses his practice on fund management and investment advisory matters, financial services regulatory compliance as well as the structuring and establishment of Singapore and offshore funds. His other main areas of practice include corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border joint ventures and investments, and regulatory compliance for listed companies and registered charities. Prior to joining Chris Chong & CT Ho in 2005, he was a legal assistant at Messrs Yeo-Leong & Peh from 1997 to 2000, a senior legal associate at Messrs Rajah & Tann from 2000 to 2002 and a partner at Messrs Chan & Goh from 2002 to 2005.
Mr. Lim graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Laws in 1996 and obtained a Master of Laws from the National University of Singapore in 2000.
